First Western Company Leadership Bios

Mr. Hampton GS_rev John T. Hampton is Chairman and CEO of First Western Bank. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and is Past President of the Arkansas Bankers Association and former Chairman of the Board of Regents for the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. Hampton is currently a member of CEO Forum, a Christian business organization, and is a graduate of the group’s Spiritual Leadership Institute. He also serves as Chairman of the Business Executive Advisory Board for the Hickingbotham School of Business at Ouachita Baptist University and is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Samaritan Community Center of Northwest Arkansas.
Steve Gramling Steve Gramling, Bank President, has over 43 years of experience in the banking industry. Gramling holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas State University as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Memphis State University. Gramling is a graduate of numerous banking schools and has also served as a Adjunct Instructor at Arkansas State University and an Instructor at the Mid-South School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.
Landon Taylor Desk Landon Taylor has 16 years of experience in banking and is Market President for First Western Bank in Northwest Arkansas. He is a 1998 honor graduate from the University of Central Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Taylor is a Northwest Arkansas Business Journal “40 under 40” winner and is currently a member of the Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders, Bentonville Rotary Club and Snack Packs for Kids Committee, is a United Way Community Impact volunteer, and serves as a Bentonville youth softball / baseball volunteer.
Robert Hererra Robert Herrera, Market President for First Western Bank in Western Arkansas has seven years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of South Logan County where he is a Past President, the 2011 Board Member of the Year, and the 2011 national recipient of the W. Clement Stone Outstanding Achievement Award through the Boys and Girls Club of America. In addition, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Petit Jean Regional Foundation Board of Directors, Past President of the Booneville Development Corporation / South Logan County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Past President of the Booneville Rotary Club.
Clay Conly Desk Clay Conly is President and CEO of First Western Mortgage. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Ouachita Baptist University and has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Conly is a Northwest Arkansas Business Journal “40 under 40” winner, a Leadership Rogers graduate and a past recipient of the Big Couple of the Year award by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas. He currently serves on the Rogers Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, The Sunshine School Board of Directors and Board of Trustees for Ouachita Baptist University.
Ty Hampton Desk Ty Hampton is President and CEO of First Western Financial, First Western Insurance, and First Western Properties.  He holds a Bachelors of Science in Education degree from Ouachita Baptist University. He has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and he currently serves on the First Western Subsidiary Board of Directors and First Western Bancshares, Inc. Board of Directors.
Lynne-Coan-Desk-200x200 Lynne Coan is Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for First Western. She joined our bank in 1991 shortly after we opened our doors in Northwest Arkansas. Coan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Ozarks and is also an honor graduate of the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee. Coan served for eleven years as Treasurer and Foundation Director for Altrusa International of Rogers (Dental Committee), is currently a member of the Blackhawk foundation for Pea Ridge Athletes, and serves as a volunteer for the Samaritan Center Café.
Andrea-Shepard-200x200 Andrea Shepherd is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Shepherd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State College and is also a graduate of the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.
Eric-Jones-200x200 Eric Jones has nine years of experience in financial services and is currently Executive Vice President / Western Arkansas Lending Manager. Jones graduated Cum Laude from John Brown University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is also an honor graduate of the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee. He served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve for five years and two years in Inactive Reserve. Jones currently serves as Chairman of the Housing Authority for the city of Booneville, is Past President of the Booneville Kiwanis Club, and past board member for the South Logan County Chamber of Commerce where he served as Chairman of the Business Expansion and Education Committees.
